Charter Adjustments has a full staff of experienced collectors who are experts in their chosen field of endeavor. We have collectors who specialize in Conventional loan collections and understand the differences that set these contracts apart from leases. These collectors have decades of experience behind them of dealing with conventional financing paper. Our lease collection team knows the increasing problems faced by the leasing industry in the recovery of delinquent lease payments and the desire of lessors to keep collateral in the field generating revenue and not having to recover collateral. We have a team of collectors dedicated to the collection of deficiency balances after repossession or of unsecured default paper all our collectors are familiar with the personal guarantee issues of all contracts and the enforcement of the same. These collectors handle matters from repossession to deficiency and on into litigation and judgment recovery when necessary.

While it is Charter's goal to keep client costs down we also know that there comes a time in the life of some conventional paper as well as lease paper where deficiency litigation becomes the only option and when and if it happens Charter is ready to handle the challenge for our clients. As an enhancement to those clients who have workout specialists Charter has what we call a secondary work out team in house for recovery. If a client sends a claim over and they are very upside down in the collateral then Charter can, with the permission of the client, send the account in to last ditch efforts to head off recovery of the collateral. Our work out team consists of people who have been in workout in the first party world and understand how to use the third party recovery situation to get the client paid and to keep collateral from ending up in inventory for liquidation. Finally when all diplomatic efforts have failed Charter has a team of bonded and licensed repossession specialists prepared to pick up collateral at a moments notice, whether it is a small ticket copy machine to a Learjet Charter can handle the repossession for our clients at half the cost of an outside agent.
